Atlanta GA – Oct 14th

Cool Twitter Conference was held featuring some amazing internet business and social medial experts.  (see #CTC on Twitter). I tagged along with Taryn Pisaneschi and shot this little piece with my flip cam.  This is a true 90 second success piece that you can easily do whenever you attend a social/business/entertainment event.

Editing was done inexpensively with Sony Vegas and then converted to flash (flv) and uploade to Amazon S3 server. This is a very cheap way to get professional videos into your blog.  Learn more here as I continue to build the content.

This is me climbing the learning curve with the apple iMovie and Flip cam. I need to get the 1st frame graphics worked out but the edits are better. Another thing is the camera is 4×3 and the imovie is set to 16×9 i guess. Not sure about these issues but I plan to try to get a 4×3 version to compare.

This file is uploaded to my facebook site and embedded here. So far, so good. I think this is a better way than youtube for host. What do you think?

He was savvy enough to take his flip camera to a marketing event and get several folks to give him a quick talking-head schpeel. I stitche’em together and added some sounds. I like the flubs and will always include them to spice up a video. Way to go Jimbo!

I sent this video straight up to youtube then forgot to reconfig the thing to 4:3 aspect ratio. Oh well moving between Mac an PC has some little traps like this. I’m learning.

Today I shot a down-and-dirty no edits flip video. This is the easiest thing to do and is where you get the most bang for your buck. Soon I’ll be showing you how to get your video into a blog like this with your own hosting control but that’s another topic.

Now you’ll see the YouTube version, edited with iMovie 09 – on my MacBook Pro – the resulting quicktime movie was uploaded to youtube and this flash version results. Here I am trying to drive traffic back to my blog, which is what social media sites are all about.
